CO2 stands for carbon dioxide. This is a greenhouse gas which occurs naturally in the atmosphere and is produced or consumed by all life on earth. International scientists have established that the increase in CO2 concentration in the atmosphere is very likely to be causing the globe to warm (Climate Change), which has the potential to cause a range of climate and environmental issues. EVs do not emit CO2 directly when driving so are more environmentally friendly than equivalent petrol or diesel vehicles.
